I'm trying to remain calm. I'm trying not to say or do anything stupid--which can oftentimes be a real challenge for yours truly. But I picked little Pooh up from daycare at the normal designated time last night only to get home with a baby on fire!

What? Nobody in daycare noticed? Nobody felt the need to call the girl's parents?!
We're all burning up today.
Pooh with fever. Her parents in fury.

It may be that the daycare peeps are apathetic weasels.
But it is also true that temperatures tend to rise as the day progresses.
Oh, I am so sorry. Did you stick her in a lukewarm tub? That can take it down.
Is she ok now?
She's got a double dose of ear infection. So, I'm guessing the next few days are going to be rough. We'll see.
Shani, you're right. Her temperature could've risen on the drive home. It's just that she was crying when I picked her up yesterday. And, well, it's her first month in daycare. I'm ready to be angry with them at the drop of a hat. Something I need to work through, I guess.
