Eye Sore

Sorry I haven't been around lately. That pesky little eye infection I mentioned earlier took a turn for the worse and turned into a double-eye, crimson, pus-bath that left me virtually blind at the end of the day. However, last night I took a hot, hard-boiled egg, wrapped it in a pillow case, and pressed it against my eyes all last night. I woke up to the clearest eyes I've had in a month. Hopefully, this lasts and I'll be around again soon enough.

Wish me luck.

Yoweee! I'm glad you found a remedy in an eggshell. How on earth did you find that? I hope you're still clear-eyed and seeing.

Thanks, yall.

The egg was my optometrist's idea. According to her, the heat attracts white blood cells to the site, which speeds healing. The egg is about as perfect of a fit as you're going to get into an eye socket. And, with the pillow case, you can keep unraveling it as the egg cools down, providing a pretty constant heat source. I highly recommend it!
