Thought for this week -I'll call it special occasion mum - why will be revealed. My 11 year old told me that my 6 year old Ollie had been trying to justify why it was OK to have sweets sometimes (daddy had brought the whole tribe into the hospital where I work so I could feed my new baby) Ollie had said thoughtfully 'Sweets are for special occasions- like when we see Mummy!' Claudia thought this was funny, I cried myself to sleep.
