I think "Afrikaan Beat" is a Bert Kaempfert original. You may not know this, but he was a producer for the Beatles while they were breaking in in Germany.
But seriously, I just read this book called _Elevator Music_ by Joe Lanza. It's making me rethink the Muzak/Elevator music genre.
And come on, admit it, you kinda like this one, too.
Isn't that a Herb Alpert tune? Do you find yourself watching Lawrence Welk, lately? That may be the next step.

Bert Kaempfert? I knew the tune, but I always thought it was a Herb Alpert thing. And yes, I do kind of like it.
